Arrival Story:
Elijah was rescued and brought in to us in December of 2006 - he has been here the longest of all of our cats. He was fostered initially, but the fosterer ended up having to bring Elijah in to us because he didn't get along with one of the other foster cats very well. Elijah is healthy, neutered, and is up to date on all his shots.
Bio:
Elijah is a sleek, svelte, and highly energetic boy. He can be very mellow and loves curling up in his hammock. He also has a lot of energy and can be a little rambuntious, although I'm sure part of that comes from being pent up in a cage for so long! (Elijah does have one of the largest vertical cages at Infinite Hope to satisfy his desire to climb. :) Once in an actual home, we think Elijah will settle down a bit. Having a chance to explore and run and play would do him a lot of good. Elijah seems to be a bit of an alpha boy and might do better with a dog or too than with other cats - he can definitely hold his own!
He is one of our favorites, and it's really sad to see him here so long. He would make a great companion and deserves to get out of this cage and be loved! Some attention, a window, some toys, and a hammock are all this boy needs to be happy!
