 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: December 23rd 1997
 Coloration: Ruddy

Likes: Playing! She would bring her toy over and mew til I played with her.

Pet-Peeves: Her brother Frank - she always picked on him.

Favorite Toy: A scrunchy ball on the end of a "fishing pole" - one picture shows her with it; also paper flowers and Beanie Babies

Favorite Nap Spot: On the computer chair, in Mom's bed, many other places.

Favorite Food: Cat food and almost anything else.

Skills: She was the best mouser ever! She was very smart - once outwitted her "human uncle" at a cat game. Could find and bring her favorite toy to you to play with.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: My 2 year old Oriental Shorthair Magic had just lost his 19 year old Abyssianian buddy, Teddy to kidney failure. He was just going nuts because he had no one to play with. He cried all day and wanted me to pick him up all the time or sit on my lap. I went to a cat show looking for another Aby. There were no kittens available, but there was a female Somali. I saw her father, who was a ruddy and he was beautiful. Because her mother was a blue, Daisy did not have quite the right color fur to show. But she was very lovely...and a naughty little girl! She broke a lampshade the first week she was with us. It took exactly one hour for Daisy and Magic to become friends and they were best friends til Daisy passed away from lymphoma cancer at age 5-1/2.

Bio: Daisy was rejected by her mother and, although she loved Magic at first sight, she was not very well socialized with humans. I finally decided she needed some "girl time" with me, so we shut the door against all distractions and spent periods of several hours playing and she became much friendlier. She was very shy when guests would come over, but she loved to play so much that if I could bring her out and make her forget she was afraid, she would suddenly become the life of the party! She was funny and smart and had the sweetest feminine little meow. She never liked to be held or sit on your lap, but she would sit or sleep near you. Sometimes I would put my hands on the top and bottom of her as she slept on her side, and she purred happily.

Forums Motto: I will outwit you in any cat game!!!
