Leave a treat for Black Jack-I'm adopted!!

Nicknames: Jack - aka THE 2nd BEST CAT EVER (next only to Tutti)

Kitty Complexion:

 Quick Bio:
Likes: Being loved. Giving head-butts and kitty-kisses (he LOVES that!!). And he likes having his arms stretched when he wakes up.

Pet-Peeves: My leaving him alone in his stairs.

Favorite Toy: Catnip mouse.

Favorite Nap Spot: When it's cold, in the stairwell bed. When it's warm, on the cement patio next door in the shade.

Favorite Food: Almost any.

Skills: He is a Master head-butter. I've never seen anything like his love of head-butts and face rubs (he rubs your face).

Dwells:
indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story: Jack's litter was born from Patches who lived across the street from me. Patches' owners never bothered to have her fixed so she had several litters. The litter following Jack's went down the toilet! A couple weeks after that, they moved from CT to OH and left Jack and his siblings on the street. I don't know what happened to them, but Jack crossed the street and adopted me and my neighbors. Unfortunately, I already have 5 cats (had 5, now have 4 but still can't take in another) and don't have room for more and my neighbors won't take him in. How anyone can NOT adopt Jack is totally beyond me.

Bio: He lives in the stair space that leads to my second-floor department, except for when he is outside (which isn't often) and he gets to go into the basement (big deal). I was keeping the door propped open just a bit so he could get in and out but I don't want to be doing that now that the temperature is dropping. But I work on Long Island and am not home 4 days out of every week, so the only attention he gets is from my kind neighbor who feeds all the cats. He is still the MOST loving cat I've ever seen, the most gracious, the most forgiving, and most gorgeous, sweet, friendly, head-butting, face-kissing, purry cat I have EVER met (and I've met a LOT of cats).
By the way, I just want to add that there is something special about his face and his pink mouth with black lips on his black face that is SO ADORABLE!! I just melt when he meows!!
One more thing -- Jack barely sheds. It's so astonishing!! Even in summer, the comb was coming up empty. No hair on his bed, while all the other cats coat their beds. No dander, no nothing!! GREAT for people who fear the cat hair or the allergies!

Lives Remaining: 9 of 9

Hi
I know I haven't kept anyone up with how I have been doing and my new mom says she is sorry about that. I guess she didn't think I knew how to add to my diary but I have been so wanting to let everyone know how much I love my new home.
My new home has lots of toys and a special bed for me thanks to my first mom. I like it here because I can explore all the different rooms and the basement. Getting on the dryer here is so much fun to give headbutts, too. You didn't think I would give that up, did you? There are two kids and that is new to me, but boy, can I make the older one happy when I let him pet me and purr for him.
I really am liking this new place. I am getting lots of attention and am giving out lots of purrs and headbutts. Who knew this would excite my new mom so much.
I want to thank my first mom for loving me enough to let me go and live with this family. I can tell that I am going to get lots of love here, too.
Now that mom can see I do know how to keep in contact with everyone, I will keep you up with my new home.

Jack's Temporary mom here,
This minute, Jake is on his way to his new furever home with a wonderful family! He now has three new brothers, one of them a furperson. Jack has been such a delight to me, clearly evident by how lame my attempts to find him a home have been.
Junior's just come running to kiss me because he knows I'm so sad to see Jack go, but I know he'll love his new home and they will love him. How can you NOT love Jack?
I just hope his new mome likes Catster enough to keep this page and make it theirs.
Headbutts and kitty kisses for Jack!!

Hi efurybody!!
I might get to have a furever home. Keep your paws crossed. Someone is coming to see me Friday evening with her children. She says she found me here on Catster and fell in love with my pictures and my story. I am so looking forward to falling in love with her and her family and hope they take me home.
Not that I'm not happy where I am, but it is lonely a lot. I get to run around in the basement and the stairs when it's cold while Meomy is away and always inside overnight. But I know there are other kitties inside the door and it seems a lot warmer and things smell good inside the door. I don't go in because I was told not to and I'm the best most obedient kitty ever, but I do get curious. It would be nice to be inside with the others. Still, I don't complain. I'm contented that I have a warm bed, regular food, and most of all, someone to give headbutts to!!!!
Well, I hope you will purr for me!!
Hedbutts galore!
