She is a Lioness in disguise!
My beautiful Maine Coon/Longhaired mix Shadow, commonly refered to as Kiki, borne him. On May 31 she escaped from the house when we were taking her to the vet to get her spayed. She managed to flee under our legs when we came in from the grocery store. We chased her into the neighborhood, but she turned a corner into a large field, and we couldn't find her. We set out food and water and waited her out. A week later she was bulging pregnate. We fed her kitten formula type food, adding cottage cheese and other chicken scraps to her diet. She got really fat. In July, a rainy day on Friday the 13th, she had her kittens in a box on top of the lawnmower. We found them and moved them into the house, watching her lick each shivering bundle. We loved her kittens, she had six. Two males and Four Females. The four females were mixed colours, Three Calicos and a Tortishell. The males were entirely different. One was a black and white tabby and the other one was a Phantom Gray/Silver tom with two extra toes. The other kits had extra CLAWS...I grew very attached to the black/white tabby male, and affectionately my mother and I named him Fred, then we got attached to the tortishell female FluffyUgly. When the others were four weeks old, we named them also, since they were all going to Family homes. All our relatives wanted these exotically coloured feline offsprings. I named the smallest Brown/Ginger Tabby Runtfoot(now RJ), because of her dimuntive stature. The biggest female, a Calico, was given the name Pristine(now Pixie), because of her beautiful features and sweet nature. The smallest female was called Tiny Star(Now called Angelina), A small Calico with an orange face. . My grandmother and Uncle have already laid claim apon the kits, Pristine(Pixie now) is my Uncle's and the Phantom Gray was my grandmother's, named Toes because of his extra apendages(Now called Bradley). And the Black and White tabby Fredrick...Then my brother has Fluffy! A sweet, kitten with a fiesty temper! She is such a ham and is probably the liveliest cat in the house!
