Hello my dear friends, I hope you have all had a good Christmas.
We need a bit advice or even just your opinion would help purrlease. Conan and myself well more Conan are causing some discussion and well concern with our eating habbits. I must point out that Mum and Dad think my habbits are pretty normal for me ie I am a very fussy eater, eat very little, eat wet food only sometimes and dry food only sometimes, eat hardly a thing and then loads. This is normal me and always has been. The wee rascal Conan was eating everything in site that he could, dry kitten complete, fishy and meaty wet foods and Daddies meat and fish. A real greedy boy! Mum and Dad buy only quality food, check ingredients etc. Now Cony boy is refusing wet food fish or meat, scratching the mat his bowl is on (Mum thought this was because he did not like the smell?)and is rejecting meat from Daddy. He is eating lots of dry food so he is eating so his appetite as such is fine and so are his teeth. His weight is good, he is a chunky wee chap and his coat and condition is superb. So Mummy thinks we should not be worried but that its weird and Daddy is stressing and therefore stressing Mummy!
I think they should worry more about his outragous behaviour!!!
Opinions and advice most welcome dear experts.
Love

So Conan and myself had a bonding experiance of a vets visit, thanks Mum! I needed my booster, I was not too bad but did put up struggle when I had my temperature took but hey!!!! The bad news is that I need my teeth cleaned and a tooth out! Mum is going to book me in when she knows she can get time off work. so it will be soon :( She said SHE feels stressed thinking about it!
Conan went for his booster but Mum said she was unsure he should of already had it. The card that the rescue place gave us said he was born in June and Mum who has had a lot of cat and kitten experiance seems to think he was around 7 weeks when we got him. She asked the vet how old do you think he is? The vet said it is hard to tell but could be 12 weeks which is what he would need to be to have his jab but said he weighed less than a twelve week old would. Mum thinks he did not want to question what had happened at the rescue places vet. Anyway he did not have his jab because the vet want to worm him as his intestines felt funny and said to change his diet as commercial kitten food is rubbish and to give him something more like what I have which is 75% fish. Mum can not find a kitten version, the vet is all about natural eating for cats and said that is too much cereal and vegtables in foods. So little Conan is back next week for a check and hopefully his jab. He also did not appreciate his temperature been taken mol!
We are getting on well and I was even spotted playing with him today, I hink he is going to be fun!
