Arrival Story:
Louie was part of a litter of kittens that were dumped at my workplace. Because they were so young, the Animal Control Officer said they would have to be euthanized. Several of us adopted the babies to save them. Louie was bottle fed for several weeks and thrived. That was 11 years ago. I think he has some psychological issues from his early life, but nothing that we can't adjust to. He often bites me, which I think is because he believes I am one of his litter-mates.

Bio:
Almost 2 years ago Louie was diagnosed with diabetes. It was so bad, the nerves and muscles in his hind legs were affected and he had difficulty getting around. He is still on daily insulin injections and the neuropathy that caused the deterioration in his hind legs has disappeared. He's a bit cantankerous, but he's full of love and affection.
