Arrival Story:
My beloved first cat Smudge had to be put to sleep because he was very sick. After 2 days my family decided we could not live without a cat in the house. We got Purrcy from a family whose kitty had a litter of kittens they couldn't keep - Purrcy was one of only two left - i was forced to choose between them (i would have had both if could have got away with it!) but instantly i saw Purrcy i knew he was the one i wanted.
Bio:
When we first got him we assumed he was just an ordinary tabby kind of cat, even though i thought some of his features looked unusual. As he grew up and displayed a disturbing facination for water i became suspicious. I looked up Turkish vans (also known as swimming cats!) and realised that he displayed many of the characteristics and markings of a Turkish Van. Its amusing trying to water the garden with a cat that wants to play with the water!
