Do you remember that song?
What a co-incidence! I just came from Da Tabbies! I was able to post too! I don't remember the song, I am two years old! But my mom does. (Halp! She is singing it now..at least I think she is singing) WHOA! In the first picture that snake looks big enough to swallow you but he is an itty bitty snake. ~Still ugly and scary! The downside of living in the desert,eh? Still would trade with you. Don't really care for the frozen north much either. so glad it was not poisonous that whould scare me. eeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwww! siver siver. He wasn't huge, but he wasn't itty bitty either, Ollie! Eeeeewwwwww is what Mawmee said too, Micheal! What I meant to meow was ~compared to my 1st impression..it looked small. but BLECH all the same! Geckos are cute, I think (in pictures anyway!) Have seen any? We saw a bunch of lizards in our backyard last summer. I'm hoping they come back again cause they are fun to watch. Some of them get really big too! Yikes! Snakes are scary! I like lizards - some of the little ones get in our house and they can be fun to play with until my mean momma takes them away. I think Minko & I would get all puffed up and hiss louder than the snake would, MOL! Eeeeuuuuwwwww is right! Give us a blue racer or a garden snake any time! dood.... az soon az mom as finsished bein pazzed out on de floor her will be awake N post OK, now her iz bak dood.... get in de litter robot flyin masheen az fast as possy bull N come bak home ta de east.... tell yur dad he can even leeve de poneez coz de derby all reddy picked sum others if we wooda walked out doorz N seed that thing we wooda hada heart of attacks, a stroke, peed pants, caca britches N we wood be mewin all de way ta perch park which iz 709 miles due east N de next time pleez post a pick sure only like this big () sew we canna see it EEEEEGGGAAAAA..we hope that wuz knot a rattlin snake Are you sure that is not a baby rattlersnake? Cuz if he is, he is just as poisonous as a big one, and when they are babies they don't got no rattlers. I think my mama is not nice enough to "move" a snake. Well, OK, he would probably get moved in several pieces unless he was a bullsnake or a garden snake. Besides, sometimes if you move them in one piece, they just come back. Gunnarr T Yeah, Gunnarr, I think that's a dangerous snake, too, from the shape of its head. GASP!! Dang, Gunnarr T - we didn't know baby rattlers didn't have rattles! We didn't think it was a rattler, but maybe it was. Good thing nobody got hurt, and hopefully he will stay in the desert! Here is what I found on the internet: Even newborn Rattlesnakes have a rattle segment called a "button" at the end of their tails, and adults may have several rattles. Rattlesnakes have flat, broad, triangular shaped heads. The pupils of a Rattlesnakes eyes are cat-like or elliptical, where non-venomous snakes have round pupils. Is that a rattler? You still like living there? I dunno, too many nasty critters for me! He didn't rattle at Daddy, HL. It doesn't look like he has a rattle on the end of his tail. We're glad to be inside! YIIIIIIIIKES! Your daddy is brave, Gleek! It's scary whether it's a rattlesnake or not. Our dad sees snakes that look like that when he walks on the trail along the Rio Grande here. One time he took a picture of a sign in a parking, just as a reference photo of where he'd been. When he got home and looked at the photo, there was a SNAKE in it! He hadn't even seen the snake, since it blended in with the gravel so well. That's why Mom stays home and walks on the treadmill. MOL! That was supposed to be "a sign in a parking lot"... Oh noooo we do not like spiders and snakes and that ain't what it takes to....oh I got carried away. MOL Mom members that song too and it so fits her so is grily girl and really dislikes spiders and snakes. That did look like a big snake in the picture. Oh Yikes! Your Daddy is very brave Gleeky! I can just hear my Mom screaming! Glad every one is safe inside! In that first picture he looks ginormous! *jump in the air with all four paws at the same time* Eeeeeeeeek, Haaaaa, Hisssss, growl. I HATE snakes. You gave me the shivers. Yucky, yucky, yucky. I brought a live snake that I caught into the house once. Dad had to fish it out of the bookcase to make sure it wasn't venomous,& he wasn't too pleased with the gift I brought him. Phhhttt! Hmmm. Maybe it was a gopher snake and you can make him go-pher coffee. Hardee, har, har! Your dad is the bravest human on earth! That snake was ginormous and frightening. We would not go near him no way no how. Be careful Gleeky and family! Your Dad is super brave! Your Dad is braver than our Dad who says that snakes give him the heebie-geebies. All we have to worry about here is that big ole groundhog in the backyard! |
