Arrival Story:
Many thanks to our friend Jake, who saved Mallory and brought her into our lives. One day he noticed a tiny black kitten in a ditch, soaking wet and risking drowning. He jumped in (which is a very risky thing to do here in NM) and pulled her out. He took her to a gas station bathroom and dried her under the hand dryer. When he told us that she had nearly died and needed a home, we were happy to take her! However, she was quite sick at first from some bacterial infection she caught in the ditch. With lots of help from our vet she grew up into a beautiful cat.

Bio:
Mallory loves to talk, and whenever somone sneezes she has to answer back with a chirp! She also loves to crawl into odd spots. She has been known to climb into an open dishwasher and on many occasions has fallen behind the stove and cried until we resued her. Luckily, she's now too big to fit behind the stove.
