Cheba will mimic birds by making a chirping sound deep in her throat when she sees them outside the window. She is also amazing at finding what will make the most noise to wake me up in the quickest way possible

Arrival Story:
My then boyfriend gave her to me as a gift. He walked by her in a cage at an SPCA street display, and when he leaned close to look at her she reached out of the cage and smacked his face. He said he decided to get her to smack her back, but really he fell in love with her right then. He met me after work and surprised me by giving me directions, street by street, without telling me where we were going. We went inside and when I saw her I fell in love with her too. We took her home and she's been smacking my face ever since.
Bio:
10/30/04. A sad update, after 17 1/2 wonderful years, Cheba had to leave us today. After being ill for four months she took a turn for the worse and began bleeding internally. She died peacefully in her mother's arms at the wonderful MarinaPet Hospital. Thank you so much Dr. Sheila Martin for your compassion, skill and support.
