every once in a while, me mom comes across a sick kitty. she offers a St Francis medal. sometimes a mommy or daddy says yes, we would like one. sometimes we get a no but thank you. either way, is ok with me. me mom always has these medal blessed at church. she likes it when the Father says that our pets should be protected too. most times, we see that a kitty is doing really well, when they wear their medal and sometimes things don't go as well as mom had liked. mom wishes she had asked if a kitty needed the medal sooner or is sad that it was too late, when she sent the medal. when she sends a medal, she hopes that, the medal is put on a kitty's collar, so that it can be as close to the kitty as possible. me mom has 2 medals and if you think your kitty needs one, she will send it to you. if she gets a few request, she will give them out to whoever writes first and then she will get some more. it might or might not take mom a long to to get these medals out. but.... please only ask for one if the kitty is sick. trying to help a sick kitty....one at a time:)

It's a wonderful thing that you do, Dusty. I know you had asked us about a medal for Calvin, and even though he didn't live long enough to get the medal, just knowing you would do something so special meant a lot to us. Emily Felicity is very sick right now. I'm not sure if you are friends with her, but here is her page if you want to ask if she would like a medal. She is going for a second opinion tomorrow regarding a tumor in her belly that her vet believes is cancer.
Great idea, Samoa! And thank you, Dusty and Dusty's Mama for your big hearts!
this is soooo nice of you and our meowmy!!!!! *purrrrrrs* it's a purrrfect idea!
We want everyone to know I am one of those kitties that was lucky to get the blessed St. Francis medal. As soon as I got it right after my mammary cancer surgery Mom put it on my collar and I have had it on ever since, she will not allow anyone to take it off, not even at the vet...it is working I am still fighting and I am still here, yesterday it was a year that Mom found out I had cancer....Dusty's Mom is the best and is a angel here on earth helping sick kitties...she has helped me and Mom, we can never thank her enough.....we believe my medal is helping and also the holy water she sent...is just so happened to arrive on the day that I was having trouble not waking up after CT scan & having a hard time breathing on my own...Mom rushed to be with me, she brought the water and put it all over me, she was petting me and talking to me telling me she loved me and once she was there and I had the water on me I started to do better....
THANK YOU DUSTY AND MOM FOR HELPING ME AND SUPPORTING MY MOM, WE LOVE YOU...
QT and Mom Peggy
