Arrival Story:
Snowball Senior was the neighborhood stud muffin and has apparently held that honor for at least 13 years. Coincidentally, the parents of a girl who temped for me at work last year live two streets over from me. They tell me that Snowball was already an adult cat, living in the neighborhood when they moved in 12 years ago. Snowball is the father of my Junior (who is named after his dad!), Ballou, Nikki, April, Quad and Miller, and grandfather to my Thomas. He's also the father of my aunt's cat, Junior Two, and my friend Donna's cats, Oliver and Madison. We began feeding Snowball when I moved into my house in the fall of 1998. Sometimes we'd go a week without seeing him, but he always returned. I suspect that he got his meals from several homes in the neighborhood because he's a bit on the plump side. ;-)  Although he was always somewhat semi-feral, he would allow me to pet him and he especially loved to have his back scratched. I can see where Junior gets his loud purring voice from! Junior looks very much like his father also. Snowball has probably spent most of, if not all, his entire life as an outdoor cat. We took the best care of him that we possibly coul.

Bio:
Unfortunately, Snowball disappeared in early 2003 and we never saw him again. We miss him so much. His legacy lives on in all of his offspring we have rescued.
