Arrival Story:
When I was little, I really wanted a kitten named Gumdrop, my mom just wanted a cat, and my dad thought 2 dogs were enough. One day when I was at school and my dad was at work, my mom went out to the SPCA. She fell in love with a black cat and was about to take her home when a man who worked there stoped her. He told her with two kids a kitten would be much better than a grown cat, so she settled for the tabby kitten in the cage next to the black cat. I got home from school and was so excited! Of course we named him Gumdrop. All seemed well until my dad got home that night. My Dad, along with the dogs, was anything but happy that we brought this cat home. We still hadn't sold our old house so my Dad went to sleep there for the night.
Bio:
Over the next few weeks, my dad warmed up to Gumdrop. The dogs even started to like him! Gummy was a sweet kitten, but he didn't have and toys. My dad decided a his hand was just as good. So now Gumdrop will let you pet him, but when your least expecting it he grabs your hand and bites it, thinking it's a game!
