Arrival Story:
Since we had moved to a house we rentfor a while, I kept hearing meowns in the nights but I thought that it was Dahlia(the other cat we met there)so I didn't pay attention at it..But in the night of 15 of August,2007 I opened the window and called Dahlia.Right then, a black kitten crossed the street and got in the garden.I rushed outside of the house with my sister and brought the kitten inside.I pet it for one or two minutes and then took it outside in the garden.I left it there and said:'Please wait untill tomorrow morning.' I went back to sleep.The next morning I got up and went outside in the garden.I started calling for the kitten when my eye caught her in a corner.I approached her and I realised that her left eye was closed.I put warm water on a piece of fabric and clean her eyes and nose.Her body was full of wounds and hairless parts.I believe that her cat mother had left her and other cats attacked her because she was very afraid of the other cat Dahlia.I gave her some milk in a small bowl and played with her.Two days later she took her first bath.At first I didn't know if I wanted another cat-I had Pepitoula at the time.But Bijoux came to stay!
Bio:
She is very sweet and playful!Even when she's all alone in the house she plays with her tail or with anything that she can find.She is very clever and loving. She is the type of cat that can manage whatever she wants no matter what.She's also very funny.She enjoys running and playing with me in the house.Her birthday it's a bit of guess:20 of June 2007. She was spayed on 4th of August 2008, after she a couple of months after she delivered four kittens which stayed with us.

Dear diary,
After I got lost in the town meowmy would hardly let me get out several weeks.Now, a few weeks ago, almost a month or more, she lets me get outside with the other kitties.
I smell the flowers, and eat some grass.Also I hiss at Spot who, according to what meowmy says, wants to hug me.
I even got to climb on a gigantic tree!From there I could see the whole garden! But then I jumped at the neighbours house and wandered in their garden.Meowmy was calling for me because she was serving lunch for the other pups and kitties. She was tired of calling, and just when she was about to enter the house I entered the stage with a great jump over a fence!
Yeah, that's me!!!!

Bijoux went missing in the night of 1st of Nobember.
I looked for her around the neighborhood but found nothing so I decided to put ads in the streets.I printed some ads with a huge photo of her and the word 'missing' in capital letters and stuck them in the streets.Unfortunately many ads where stuck out by people...
A couple of days after she went missing we went to look at a house that we were renting a few days before Bij went missing.Unluckily she wasn't there.
Bij was nowhere to be seen so we called a radio chanel that is known for helping people to find their lost animals and add an ad there too.
Days passed and I realised that ads wouldn't help.Poeple wouldn't help me find my little Bijoux.I realised that only God and my own actions would lead me to her.
We went at that house again yesterday.And there she was!As soon as she saw me she rushed to me meowing happily!I was trembling-I couln't believe that she was alive!I didn't bring her home yesterday because I didn't have her carrier with me but we went today again and brought her home!
I want to thank God and everyone who prayed to find my little kitty.

Last Monday(two days ago) mum said that we would go a small trip to the vet's so she brought the carrier which I had seen a lot of time before and put me in there.I was really quiet and didn't try to get away or anything.That made mum very happy!
Then she walked to the vet's and the vet took me out of the carrier and put me in a smaller one.Mum was afraid that I would hiss or scratch the vet but fortunately I was an amazingly nice and obedient girl.
Mum left but I heard the vet saying that she should come to get me at about 7:30-8:00 in the afternoon.
Mum came at 7:20 in the afternoon to get me.I had already woken up from the anesthaesia but I was still feeble and my senses were not very alert.
Mum remembers better than me what happened so I'll let her talk.
Ok,I went to get Bijoux.She was shaking as if she was about to fall due to the anestaesia.She would look at me but no reaction!
When we went at home I left her in the carrier because I didn't want to annoy her by taking her out of it.
I felt that I wanted to stay for a while with her to make sure that she'll be fine.Good for her,because she got out of the carrier many times.Needless to say that she was collapsing and I was rushing to take her back to the carrier,petting her and whispering how good and brave girl she is.
Also she threw up the food she ate before taking her to the vet.
The next morning she was much better but feeble.The vet did the surgery through the midline.I am giving her some medicine for a few days now.
I am very glad I got Bijoux spayed for several reasons.Firstly I won't have to worry if she gets out of the house that she will breed with a male cat and increase the stray's cats number.Secondly she won't be in heat anymore which means no more cries,rolling on the floor and acting weird.
In addition I have noticed that since she was spayed she is more loving and affectionate.Before getting spayed she would hardly enjoy being petted.Now she just loves being petted and cuddled!
