Likes:
Sleep in comfy places like our bed. Her place at the window. Metallica or Nickelback - played really loud (don't ask - I have no idea why). Watching the neighbours from her high perch on our balcony. Eat. Play hide.

Pet-Peeves:
The doorbell. People visiting. Strange persons wanting to grab her (ok - they just want to give her some TLC, but she doesn't get the concept from strangers). Being startled. The vacuum cleaner.

Favorite Toy:
Small red fur mouse. Crumpled paper. Paper bags big enough to crawl into.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Our bed. My husbands easy chair.

Favorite Food:
Tuna, nearly all sorts of fish, mozzzarella-cheese, chicken, lamb, Royal Canine Fit 32 (or was it 34?)

Skills:
Hide so you can't find her for hours. No easy feat for a 7 kilo cat. Startle herself half do death. Perfect sliding stops on our floor - every quarter horse would be envious! Fish for legs and feet under the blanket. And she is a fierce spider-hunter!

Dwells:
indoors

Bio:
It still amazes me how this little bit of a cat - she fit in my palm when I got her - could grow into this big black panther... ;) She lives indoors and four or five times during the day she takes a stroll on our balcony. At the beginning, I was afraid that she would jump down from it and check out the neighborhood, but she didn't. But one time she decided to make a pass at all the crunchy birdses (as Smeagol would put it) outside our bedroom window. Too bad she had no wings. So she landed in the bushes five meters below(needless to say - no window is left open unchecked since then). She looked like a christmas tree when I came down to her rescue. ;) Leaves and pine needles everywhere in her fur. And no bird! She was clearly not amused! I think she learned her lesson then - she never tried something like this again.

Musings by one hell of a cat

Is there anything more dreadful then to let go?
We had to put Ronja to sleep nearly two weeks ago. Horrible. Devastating. We miss her so much. We buried her in our garden right next to a beautiful, big stone.

Devastating

We just recieved the news yesterday: Ronja is terminally ill. She has a fist-sized tumor in her tummy. She sleeps a lot, eats and drinks almost nothing. The vet said he has to put her to sleep soon. He can't do anything for her.

It hurts so much. Knowing these are her last days with us. I still can't believe it.

My mom seems to be desperate

She even took me to the vet! Ok, I have this acceptance-problem with my cat toilet. Ok, it could have been a bodily malfunction but it isn't. Now she is more unsure as before.
