Eartha is a retired champion show cat from Katz N'Jazz Cattery in Sacramento, California. She flew to us with Boomer, her cousin kitten in April '04.
UPDATE: AS OF JULY '05 EARTHA WAS REHOMED BACK TO HER BREEDER IN CALIFORNIA. SHE JUST WASN'T HAPPY COMPETING WITH BOOMER FOR THE TOPCAT POSITION. SHE HAS GONE ON TO BE A GRAND CHAMPION SHOW GIRL AND IS LIVING THE GLAM LIFE UNTIL HER FOREVER HOME AS AN ONLY CAT CAN BE FOUND.
Bio:
Eartha is a sweet, elegant, athletic, smart, magnificently beautiful cat with large golden eyes and silken coat like a wet seal. It took us a while to realize that many of the mischiveous actions we were blaming on Boomer were really the sneaky work of Eartha. She also taught him how to hide and jump out of the apartment door as we came in or went out. Unlike Boomer, she is very graceful. Her leaps are prodigious. She can get to the top of the cat condo in one five-foot jump. She is fascinated with moving water and we have to rescue her from toilet hypnosis all the time. In the morning and at bedtime she likes to have her tummy tickled and she will roll around on the floor and stretch out like a rubber band. She tries to remove my ankle bracelet by chewing on it. She loves to sleep under the covers.

I am from California and I am not used to these cool New York autumns...so now I am sleeping all cozy under the blanket with my mom and dad. That is until bad boy Boomer comes and digs me out! That's okay. I hid his favorite toy, the stuffed monkey with the rattle inside. He will never find it. Ha!

Cable box is handy to watch tv from because I get a good view. It is also warm. Sometimes Boomer tries to share my space. He is young and thinks everything is his. He is wrong.
