Arrival Story:
I went to the animal control on April 8th to look for small breed animals, they had nothing but cats and dogs and while I was waiting to speak to a worker there, Cairo decided he was going home with me, He had the sniffles and they were going to put him down in the morning. I was not hearing of that. I took his big beautiful kitty butt home and got him antibiotics after a visit to the vet. He took the meds and seems like a perfectly good and healthy cat to me. I adore him. He definately shows his love for me. He stays by my side.

Bio:
Cairo actually escaped my house a few times and he always came back within a few hours. Two times he left very late at night and in the morning I found him in my laundry room, located outside my house in the back porch area. He was there waiting for me, asleep on my dryer. He obviously wants to be here. He and my other 2 cats get along rather well! Cairo did not have a name when I got him. I was going to call him Rozz, after Rozz Williams of the band Christian Death but then Cairo came to mind. He is stong, proud, he looks like a mini panther from the back when he is laying down. He has been with me since 4/8/04 and he knows his name well and loves it!
