Arrival Story:
My ex took me to the Humane Society a few days after Christmas, having decided that we needed to get a cat. We didn't see Marinetti, who was in one of the ground-level cages and almost completely hidden in the back of his cage. And then -- WHAM -- a gigantic white paw came and swiped at my leg. I looked down, saw the biggest, silliest looking cat I'd ever seen in my life, and fell head over heels.

Bio:
* Marinetti is named after Filippo Tomasso Marinetti (the writer of The Futurist Manifesto -- poet, novelist, fascist, and proud owner of one of the greatest mustaches in history). * He was originally named Socks. * Marinetti has entropian, a condition where his eyelids curl inwards instead of outwards. He's had surgery to correct this twice, and it isn't as bad now. * He also has kitty herpes, which he contracted in the Humane Society. * He used to be a brawler, which is one of the reasons his former people gave him up. He's mellowed out a bit in the year I've had him. * Marinetti has a crush on the girl next door, a grey kitty named Emily, but it's not reciprocated. * Marinetti believes that humans are incapable of going to the washroom or taking a bath without feline supervision.
