Moist cat food for a treat, trying new things
To be held for more than a few seconds, he's a busy kitten!

We moved here and with the property came a barn and with the barn came a cat. We gave the cat a name and turned her into a bit of a pet. We named her Persephone, Sephe for short. Sephe had four kittens, one was Apollo, the only long hair of the litter. PS. Sephe is at the vet getting spayed this very moment!
Just that we expect Apollo and his litter mates to be more trusting of humans since we were able to start them early.
Greek God of light, music and healing

Still a baby:
I am the biggest of the litter and the only one with long fur. I am quiet, but active. I am the first to step out and try new things. Everyone who sees me says I'm pretty. I am colored just like my mom, the same as my brothers and sister.
In Greek Mythology Artemis is my twin sister and we both carry a bow and arrow I have a litter mate named Artemis. Apollo was known for his long beautiful hair, much like my long beautiful fur.

It was night, and I was crossing the street to hunt in the field. I was a great hunter, the best hunter, really. I loved rats especially. I kept them out of the hen house. I kept the mice and crickets out of house. Well, anyway, a car came and it was too dark for me to be seen clearly. So, I am going to the big, overgrown field in the sky, without the dangers of cars or coyotes, without the responsibilities of looking after my brothers and sister or keeping the hen house clean. Just me and the field mice, the grasshoppers, the crickets. No birds to dive bomb me. No dependence on humans, except when I feel like sitting in a lap and getting pet. Oh, and they tell me there are no burrs to get tangled in my luscious long fur. :-)
