How I met my New Mommy

There was a big thunderstorm and it was raining very hard. My birth mommy Princess and my birth daddy Baxter were concerned me and my 3 brothers and sister could be washed away. So they carried us one by one a long distance and up stairs to our new home. At least it was new to me. Mommy P and Daddy B lived there in the winter. It was round and had a blanket inside to keep us warm. It was big enough that Mommy P could could nurse us in there. It was a long trip and Mommy P and Daddy B were very tired. But they told us we would be very safe there. Daddy B slept just outside the door to protect us all.

The next morning was sunny and warm. Mommy P and Daddy B got up early and sat by a glass door. When Mommy P saw somebody coming she stood up and scratched at the door. The door opened and I heard someone say "Good morning Princess, Baxter". Mommy P closed her eyes for a couple of seconds. "I love you too Princess! When are you going to show me your kittens?" Then 2 bowls of delicious food came out. Mommy P and Daddy B gobbled it down. "See you guys later" the somebody said.

After breakfast Mommy P called to my sister Diana to come out. We had just started walking. She waddled to the doorway of our home, then tumbled out into the open. The somebody had been watching and upon seeing Diana for the first time she said "Oh Princess, she is so beautiful!" then we heard a noise as she opened the other door and walked out. She was very tall - I couldn't even see her face. She stood up on her long back legs. She walked over to Mommy P and touched her sides with her huge hairless paws. Mommy P closed her eyes and purred when the person did that. "Can I take a look at your baby Princess?" Mommy P rubbed against her legs and purred. The tall one bent down and picked Diana up in her huge paw and brought her to her face. "What a pretty little girl you are!"
