Arrival Story:
My other cat, Tasha, needed a companion. She used to look at me with huge imploring eyes when I left for work...so...I got another cat. Lily is another Rescue Project cat. She was found sealed in a hole in the wall with a litter of kittens. Her kittens got adopted out, but no one wanted Lily. So of course I did. And the rest is history.

Bio:
Lily and her fur sister, Tasha, played an integral role in last fall's squirrel invasion. See the guard pictures below. The squirrel was holed up in the cupboard, kept at bay with the ironing board. Lily was front line defense. Tasha was backup. The squirrel, who I ended up steering towards an open window with a broom (no harm came to anyone) didn't stand a chance. Lily is not quite as effective with bats, but in her defense, bats fly, and they fly fast. However, watching her head roll around on her shoulders as she tracks the bat in the air is pretty funny.
