Arrival Story:
A friend of the family bought Regis at a pet-store (ugh...I know!) as an adult cat. She decided she didn't have time for a long-haired cat and offered him to me. It was love at first sight! We're going on 16 years now. :)

Bio:
When Regis' best dog friend, Maddie, was diagnosed with cancer in Nov '09 he stopped purring and when she passed in January '10 he stopped eating. We had a feeding tube placed and he started eating on his own again so we were able to have it removed. He was eating okay but still not himself--rarely left his bed, no interest in toys or catnip. Then he stopped using the leg that had acl surgery in 2002. So hard to say goodbye but he was in such pain. He's now with our Maddie...run and frolic my sweet boo!
