Arrival Story: I was thinking about getting a sister or brother for my cat Cleo. After I thought about it for a while I then went to go look at cats-JUST LOOK. The people at the humane society told me that a girl cat would be better because they are calmer, so I thought I'd take a look around. I looked at many different cats, but Mysty was the only one that ran up to me, and let me hold her. She kissed me and marked me, and everything-I couldn't leave her there! She had lived there for a month and most people thought she looked mean, and wasn't "cute." My hubby was surprised that I brought her home, but he got past it. She is now his little girl, and he is HER pet
Bio: She cries when she misses people or her fur-sister, but she is not as affectionate as she was when we first got her-just to her fur sister...the little stinker!

My Family: I loved my family right away, I always wanted to cuddle with them, and tell them how much I love them. Now, I am more like a ma-ma...I want to take care of everyone, but won't let people take care of me...I'm too busy for that. I tattle when people are missing, and I tattle when Cleo is doing something wrong. My mommy is a teacher for 2nd graders. My daddy was not crazy about the fact that mommy brought me home, but I slowly won him over, and now I am one of his babies. He fixes people's power, so us cats can have tv, lights, and running water fountains. My brother lives in someplace called Florida-I met him over Christmas-boy are him and his friends loud! He is going to school to make movies, hopefully he will remember us little "people" when he makes it big. My sister goes to someplace called high school. She is gone a lot sometimes playing with a big white ball, and other stuff. Well that is all about my family- I love them so much!

My two-legged sister somehow got a small tear in her cornea, and because we didn't know she continued to wear her contacts. Because of that bacteria got into the tear and ulcerated the area. Because the area got ulcerated bacteria grew and went under the cornea.
Right now she has only movement she can see out of that eye. She cannot see even 2 fingers in front of her face-really I am serious. Her eye looks like she has cateracts. The doctor is concerned and has told me they are worried about her losing her sight in that eye. In 24 hours we will know more and if she has to see a cornea specialist or not. We will also know if it is healing if she will have scaring.
She is missing the whole week of school, and probably some of next week-that is IF things go well, if not she will be out longer. This also means missing volleyball. Needless to say she is VERY depressed.
Her boyfriend has been GREAT. He was with her Monday to take care of her and take her to the doctor's office, so I could work...they have a hard time finding subs. He bought her a ton of flowers-he is such a sweetie!
Daddy is saving days off for if she has to go to the hospital. Right now she is home. She has drops, ointment and pills they have her on, and pain pills.
Wednesday Update: She can now see the outline of her hand and the largest letters on the eye chart. She has to keep to keep seeing the doctor every day.
Please keep our 2-legged sister in your thoughts and prayers
First, let me say I am NOT a kissy-face! I just really like my 2-legged sister's boyfriend. He is nice, and he plays with me. I am NOT happy that MYpeople are gone all the time! My family is always working...I think they should stay home ALL of the time! I also think I should get more treats, AND more wet food!!! I mean, don't they realize how important I am?
Cleo and I have been playing a lot. She is getting better at pouncing on me, but I am bigger, so I usually win. Mommy also came home and warned me about something. She said that we may cat-sit for her mommy's kitties. She said they are VERY naughty, so Cleo and I would have to train them. I hope they don't come-I want to make sure that there is enough cat food and treats...I mean if we have to share, I just don't think I would get enough.
Well mom and my furless sister have been coming and going to look at colleges. I have been pretty sad because mommy and my furless sister have been looking at colleges...I miss them. I also miss my furless sister's boyfriend...I haven't seen him forever! He always is so good to me, and now I have nobody to tell me I am so special. I am so sad
