 Quick Bio:
 Coloration: Red Tabby

Likes: Being on my lap.

Pet-Peeves: When the kittens attack his tail; being hungry.

Favorite Toy: STRING!

Favorite Nap Spot: On my lap, or on the back cushion of the couch.

Favorite Food: Anything. Any food. He eats everything from cereal to edamame. He's weird.

Skills: Talks too much, doesn't say anything. GREAT KISSER. Sit, hup, come.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: I adopted from a local rescue group. Was told he lived on the street after the Northridge earthquake of 1994, was found in someone's back yard so dirty they did not know he was orange until they bathed him. He's terrified of dogs and the outdoors.

Bio: Indoors, this love-bug is the sweetest, most personable cat in the house. He greets everyone at the door (hoping they've brought him some food), even strangers. We've had people come to meet foster kittens who end up liking Roscoe the best. Despite being the snuggliest, most lovable cat I've ever had, he's also a noisy pest, especially in the kitchen. He thinks everything we do is going to result in food for him. He even begs for food when his dish is full!
No, he doesn't have worms or anything. He's recovered from hyperthyroidism / radioiodine therapy, and he doesn't have diabetes or any other problems... except allergies, but I don't think that's related. He's allergic to fleas, himself, and other cats... but what can you do. I should also mention he has what we call "OCS" - Orange Cat Syndrome. I liken it to a feline OCD... Roscoe is cutest when he is asleep, no matter what, when, or where. He purrs an awful lot, too. I guess he's pretty secure, happy, and content!

Forums Motto: Snuggle 'til you're hungry.

Hi, I passed over the rainbow bridge in early November, 2005. I had lymphosarcoma (cancer) that demolished my intestines. My mom saw the signs early but the vets couldn't find anything wrong with me, then we did a biopsy and it came back grave. By then I went downhill pretty fast. Now I am playing with some of my other friends on the other side, waiting for my Mom to join me so I can sit in her lap and purr and give her big wet kisses again.
