Arrival Story:
A few months before I met Charlie, I lost my first cat, La Severa or Vera for short, to a car. I was devastated. Vera was the greatest cat, she'd sleep between my legs and curl up with my boyfriend's german shepard. We were a happy family. So when she died, I didn't think I'd ever love a cat more. But a few months later we visited my boyfriend's sister who, along with her friends, orchestrates a no kill animal shelter out of their homes. There was a new batch of kittens so we hung out with them. I wanted to help out by adopting another cat, but I had a hard time choosing. I wanted an instant connection like I had with Vera (who when we met curled right up on my lap and was super talkative - her original name was Froger due to her croak like meow). Well Charlie was the sweetest cat there, he loved to be held and purred constantly. I put him in a box and drove him to Wyoming.

Bio:
Charlie was born in Elko, Nevada and raised with bunches of other cats for his first formative months. Once we met I moved him to Jackson, Wyoming were he spent his first winter afraid yet very curious of all the snow. After a year in Wyoming he drove cross country with me to Burlington, Vermont where he's been bullying other cats.
