Arrival Story:
This little girl was a little abandoned/neglected kitty who first showed up on my daughter's deck in the fall of 2006. She came by almost daily for some food that my daughter would leave out for her, but then she stopped seeing her around. She always left a bowl of food on her front porch all winter long and would see foot prints, but with the many cats around her place she was never sure who was stopping by for a meal. In the spring she only filled the bowl with food when a kitty showed up. She showed up again, and more often, she waited for my daughter to leave in the morning and for her to come home to get a full bowl of food. She is very small in size and she was also thin, my daughter got worried when she started getting a belly but then noticed she had tapeworms. She gave her a pill and decided it was time to ask around if any neighbors knew who she belonged to. Some 3 weeks went by and no one knew anything, so she took her to get spayed on July 25th. She was living inside with her and her cats for a few weeks and she was trying to find her a family of her own she already had 6 cats of her own and she kept chasing her oldest cat. I called my daughter after she received an email that a friend of a friend said they wanted her and wanted to meet her which caused her to start to cry and she told me all about this cat Moxie that she fell in love with but could not keep and hated that she may give her to someone and not see her again. A few days later I went by to visit her and my furry grandkids, and I met Moxie. Two weeks later I brought her home with me.
Bio:
Watching her play is so cute, she often shakes her little butt while backing up and then runs & pounces on the toy. She enjoys playing with all toys and has fun running up & down the hall. She carries toys around and also steal the toys the other cats are playing with, much to the annoyance of the other cats. She really is a sweet cat, silly and cute too. She lets you pet her & kiss her all over.
When she lives with my daughter she was a real snuggler and was always on my daughter's lap. However with us she is more independent, se loves being around you but not so much on you anymore. She still enjoys licking though, she can lick an arm until it tickles you. She has adapted very well with us, and I am happy that she was never afraid of our doggie.
