My Summer Vacation

Mom took me to Illinois with her this summer. We had to go because grandma and grandpa needed some help, so she whisked me away in the van and 2 days and 7 states later I was in "farm land". Since I have never had the opportunity to run up and down stairs before, this was a totally new experience for me. I didn't quite know what to do. Once I figured out they went "up" to the hiding places and "down" to the food, I was in great shape. I could look out the upstairs windows to see all of the other four-legged creatures, but they couldn't see me. After a week, it was back acrossed 7 seven states again, but I think I did a great job. I just curled up between two pillows that mom put in the back for me and enjoyed the sights from the side windows. Of course, I had all of the other comforts too - my food, water and litter box all laid out for me. I usually travel with mom on the weekeds, but this trip was a doozy! By the way - grandma and grandpa are much better now.
