As the title tells you it's been a while since I last wrote in my diary so I thought it was high time I got mum to help me paw an update.
Grandpa had his 7th chemo treatment on Monday and he's now over the half way hump. He's doing really well and has five more treatments and then doctors will decide if more is required. They can do more that 12 treatments if required.
Grandpa had a fall last week and got quiet a nasty black eye from it. He on the mend from this but his eye didn't look pretty for a few days and he some small bruises on other parts of his face.
Mum is still working hard not as much as she would like during the week but at least she got work on the weekends. I miss her when not home but I know she has to go to work to earn money to help pay for my cat food.
I'm doing ok. Getting out for walks a lot in this warmer weather. Some days it's too hot to do anything other than sleep in front of the air con or a fan.
I would like to ask that all mates purr for all the people and the animals that have been affected by the bush fires that are going on all over Australia at the moment. It's been really hot here and conditions are only going to get worse over the next few days. So if you could spare some purrs it would be appreciated.
I think that's all my news for now. I hope this finds my mates and their families happy and healthy and I send my purrs to those doing tough.
Purrs and hugs your Aussie mate
Ka - zar
Ka-zar, glad to see the update and that things are going well at home. We will send lots of purrs to the families and purrs that were affected by the fire and hope none were lost.
Phantom, Spice and Angel Patches
Thanks for the update on Grandpa, Ka-Zar! We have limitless purrs for him. Sorry to hear about the hot weather and bush fires. Seems that Mother Nature has something nasty in store for all of us these days. Stay where it's cool, mate!
It's always good to hear from you and we are glad you are all OK. We have kept up the purrs for Grandpa and also have been purring for all those affected by the bush fires. They look very scary. We have been reading how hot it is in Oz at the moment and we can't get our heads around that kind of temperature. We'll send some cold, we have plenty! Purrs Toby and Josie
We have been reading here about all the fires too. It's not good. Actually Christchurch here in NZ also has been having problems with fires. But not to the extremes you guys are getting. Many purrs for all those affected.
