It Christmas eve here in Australia and I've finally got mum to help me paw a Christmas diary entry.
I have to say in mum defence she has worked the last 5 days straight and she been working really hard. The supermarket she works at is busy at the best of times but at this time of year even worse she started at 7am this morning and she told me she didn't stop until her shift finished at 11am.
She even came home and had a nana nap for a couple of hours she was so tired. I miss mum when she not home but I know she makes the time to spend time with me when she is home and I love her for that.
We are going to have a quiet Christmas just the five of us and have lunch together. If this year has taught me anything it is take time to enjoy being with your family you never know what's around the corner.
I want to thank all my mates for being there for me this year. We've had a tough year with Grandpa getting sick and it's times like these it makes you appreciate your mates even more.
My greatest wishes for next year is that Grandpa is cancer free and all shelter kitties get a loving furever home and someone to love them just like the one I've been lucky enough to live in.
Well this is starting to get a bit long. So Merry Christmas to all my mates and I hope that Santa brings you everything your heart desires. I also hope my mates stay safe over the Christmas holidays.
Purrs and hugs your Aussie mate
Ka - zar
We send Happy Christmas to you too Ka-zar. You are right - enjoying our time together is what life is all about. It's something us cats are pretty good at usually. It's the people that rush about! Festive purrs to you. Toby and Josie
Merry Christmas Ka-Zar!! Purrs and hugs to you and your family!
Merry Christmas Mate! Hugs and purrs to you!
Merry Christmas, Ka-Zar! I know you're not having a white Christmas there, and it snowed here last night, so I'm sending you a box of snowflakes for your holiday. Have a wonderful, warm day with your family. I hope all your wishes come true in the New Year.
