An update on Grandpa

As most of you know Grandpa had his first chemo treatment on Monday and I thought I would give you a quick update.

So far the side effects have been minimal and very few. Grandpa is feeling pretty good and is getting out and about. We don't know how long this may last but as a nurse told Grandma and Mum different people are effected differently by chemo and take each day as it comes.

So that's what we've decided to do. It is good advice and I know all of the purrs from mates has had a paw in that. I also want to thank you all for your comments and support. It has meant a lot to me and my family.

I hope my mates and their families are happy and healthy and I send my purrs to those doing it tough.

Purrs and hugs your Aussie mate

We are so happy that things are going well for Grandpa! Will keep purring that he sails through the chemo with no ill effects.

How wonderful everything is going well. Sometimes the symptoms kicking in toward the end. If this is the case, tell him to stick with it....it will save his life.

Love ya mate and still purring.

I expect all the purring is helping. I bet not many people having Chemo have such a band of cats purring for them! We'll keep it up! Thank you for the update. Toby and Josie
