As you may know there is a flood crisis in Queensland and now some parts of New South Wales and it has gotten worse over the last 24 hours.

8 people have been confirmed dead with 4 of them children and another 72 missing. There is no ending to the rain in sight and people are being rescued from their roof tops. Cars have been floating away like as one woman who was there put it like toys in a bath pub.

There could be more people found dead and even more missing. Please join me in purring for the people of Queensland and New South Wales that the rain stops soon they can start the recovery efforts and that people are safe from danger.

Also could you please spare some purrs for my mates Ra and Utu as they live in a suburb of Brisbane Stafford Heights and Brisbane is now under threat. May they be safe from danger.

Lots of purrs form our family. I hope they are ok. We have family there. One in Brisbane itself and one up in Gympie and they are all ok with no problems. So I hope your friends are in the same boat.

Our purrs are with them all my friend..We pray they are safe.
So many have lost their lives in these horrific floods.

I'm sending lots of purrs your way. I'm hoping that the rain machine gets turned off soon and all the extra water goes down the drain with no more loss of life.

Amen, Grayson. I second that. My sis Zoe, insisted on sending some notes of hope out to your countrymen on this website and so far the replies have been good, but Virgie said that his family are getting web feet.

I'm sorry to hear about the deaths. We will be praying for you and your countrymen, for the rain to stop and every one be able to get back to normal life, safely and fast. See, my husband is in the Restoration business, so the devastation of homes is something I see. Once the water resides then unfortunately the hard work and stress begins. So we need to keep praying for these people, for a very long time.
