I want to use this chin wag as a call to purrs. Mother nature has been really mean this week and I've been purring for all the people and animals that have been effected.
It started with the earth quake in Christchurch New Zealand. The devastion that has been caused there and during the week there has been more quakes.
The came the floods in Victoria Australia. Some of the flooding has happened near where I live but we haven't been affected directly but two towns near where I live were and it happened to other places in Victoria
I also want to send purrs to the people of Pakistan for the flooding that has happen there too.
I call for all my mates that read this to join me in purring for those directly affected. It may not be a lot but at least we're doing something.
Today in Australia is September 11th. I am taking a moment to remember all those who died on September 11th 2001 and all the heroes that tried to save them.
It was called the day the world lost it's innocence.
I hope this chin wag finds my mates and their families happy and healthy.
Purrs and hugs your Aussie mate
Ka - zar
So glad that you are safe and well, Ka-zar. I hadn't heard about the floods in Australia, but maybe just because the Pakistan floods had consumed so much of the news. We're sending purrs every which way these days.
We, too, will be remembering Sept. 11 today. We are fervently hoping that that tragedy will ultimately serve to knit us together as a country and as a world, rather than pull us apart.
Our friend Bella Prints lives on North Island in NZ. She has been troubled by flooding but no earth quakes. We are glad you are doing well and not affected by the bad stuff happening down there.
Today is Mumma's birfday...she all too vividly remembers the events of September 11, 2001. We bow our heads for a moment of silence for the victims.
Your loving pal~
Sending lots of purrs. We're happy that you are well Ka-zar.
