I write this chin wag with a heavy heart this week as two great kitties made their trips to the bridge this week.
Firstly Quinn C made his trip to the bridge and it was very sudden. He was a very sweet kitty and a great mate to all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.
His time on earth may have been short as he was only two years old but he touched a lot of hearts in such a short short time.
The second was very dear friend Emily Felicity who was unwell over the weekend and her mum took her to vet to be diagnosed with cancer.
Her mum was very brave and send her to the bridge so she could be free of suffering. Emily Felicity and her family are great mates to me and I now have a very dear angel mate up above looking over and looking out for me.
If there is one lesson this week has taught me it let everyone you care about know how much you love them and love them like there's no tomorrow as we don't know when that might be case. Just a simple leg rub can tell our humans we care.
If I'm not around as much as I normally I am mum is having trouble with her net connection. If I'm not going to be around for any reason I will let you know.
Mum would never let me just disappear from catster but if the net drops out there isn't much we can do about it. Mum is in the process of finding a new ISP. Hopefully the problem will be resolved soon.
It's funny though that it's always about the time we're about to log into catster so I can chat to my great Spirit at the breakfast club which is early evening snack for me because if the time differences.
Mum jokes it a conspiracy so I can't chat to Spirit I hope not as I enjoy my chats with Spirit before going to bed. Well come to think of I'm in bed already as I sit on the bed and tell mum what to type.
Well there is nothing left to write about. I hope all my mates and their families are happy and healthy and I send my purrs to those doing it tough.
Purrs and hugs your Aussie mate
Ka - zar
yes my friend, too many are leaving for their next life..You always meow it so sweetly that it brings tears to our eyes..thank you for caring so much Ka-zar..
we understand about the internet connection..stay with us when you can..
Love and purrs
Dude ... you're the best
It so sad when kitty friends go to the Bridge. You are absolutely right - we must appreciate the ones we love while we can. (I might even give little Josie a headrub.)
I hope your mum doesn't get as grumpy as mine does when her internet doesn't work. I have to meow lots to remind her that us cats are always online and we're what matter.
