It has been an interesting week this week for me. Firstly mum and I logged on earlier this week to find the new catster site up and running. We like it but they did go and reinvent the wheel a little too much and some of the things that we like about the site have changed.
Mum like that the new site loads a lot quicker on her slow net connection. We not too fond of the carpet background or a scratching post as some of my mates have called it. The colour scheme is alright but it needs to be toned down a bit as it too bright on mum's eyes.
Once they get the site fully functioning it will be a much needed change and I purrsonally feel for the better. My Aussie page isn't at the moment as the changes mucked up my background code. We are hoping my mates the manxster's mum can fix it as mum has no clue about programming and their mum does a wonderful job that is really appreciated.
I was saddened this week that my good mate Louis's cancer has returned the treatments he was having haven't worked as well as Louis's vet and mum had hoped. They are going to up the dose to see if that helps but could all my mates please spare some purrs for Louis and his mum at this very difficult time.
On a brighter note on the health front my mate Adam Dylan had chest x rays to see if the mass was still there and I'm happy to report the x ray came back clear and the mass is gone. He is still having problems with diarrhoea so could you please continue the purrs for him.
If any of mates have some to spare can you please send some sun my way. It's not going to get above 13 degrees this weekend and mr sun has done a total disappearing act. The sun doesn't make it that much warmer but it brightens my day to see it just the same.
I was thinking since the site has under gone changes so might my weekly diary entry as of next week I am changing the name of my diary entry to my weekly chin wag. For those of you who aren't familiar with the term it Aussie for chat.
I hope this finds all my mates and their families happy and healthy and I send my purrs to those in need.
Purrs and hugs your Aussie mate
Ka - zar
We're purring nonstop for Louis, too. Hoping some sun heads your way!! I'm sure you miss your sunpuddles!
Loads of purrs for Louis, Adam Dylan & Eve. Glad to hear that the mass is gone. :) I asked the sun to make more appearances over your home, lets see if the sun actually listens to requests. :) I think that the 'Weekly Chin Wag' is a perfect name for your diary, Ka - Zar! How cute!
Hope you & your mum have a great weekend and receive some sunshine.
~hugs & love~
"Chin wag" is a marvelous title for a diary. But it doesn't matter what you call yours, Ka-zar. We'll read it anyway. We have sun interspersed with thunderstorms, good for the garden and especially the weeds, which are growing like.... well.
We will endeavor to ship more sun your way.
