I want to start my rant by thanking the mate who sent me the wonderful sunshine we've been having today. I've been out most of the day expect when no one was home for all of about half an hour. I've been sitting in one big sun puddle. It's been a nice change from sitting inside in front of the heater because it's too wet and cold to go outside.

I also want to send birthday wishes for my great mate and cook Pie who celebrated her birthday yesterday. I better not say which one it was as some ladies are senstive about there age. I hope you had a great day.

I was reading my mate Edgar's dairy the other day and he was saying he was having problems with ants getting in his food. This is extra roughage that no kitty wants and I am going to let you in on a simple secret to get rid of them as most of my mates are coming into the warmer months and this tip might be helpful.

Get a Frisbee and put water in it and then place your food bowl in the water and the frisbee. As far as I know I've never seen an ant that can swim. Mum did this for me and I haven't had any troubles with ants in my food since. It take a bit of getting used to but it's well worth it. My head was doing a funky dance for while.

My mate Adam is still in need of purrs. He has had his meds changed and his vet seems to think this will help but purrs would also help him and his mum. If he doesn't start to improve in the next few days it's back to the vet they go. His mum is really worried about him.

That's all my news for the week. I hope my rant finds all my mates and their families happy and healthy.

Guess we won't ever have ants near us cuz I like to take the water bowl and swing it from side to side. Oooooos!
If I don't stop soon, Mom may buy a Frisbee and put my water bowl in it! MOL

I'm happy you got a bit of warm weather, my furriend! The frisbee idea might work fur us... but since I like to paw around in my water, I might just make a big mess! MOL!
