Wow it's almost the end of the first month of the year as I write this rant where did the time go? It just seems like yesterday I was writing my new year's rant and now on Monday we're into February.
Not a lot has happened this week. Mum has been home from Melbourne for just over a week now and I haven't let her out of my slight when she's home. Her bag that she takes away with her was in the hallway for four days before she put it in the shed I was worried that she was going away again.
The weather has been nice and sunny without being too warm here this week. Mum calls it nice heat it's heat that warm without being so warm your dripping in sweat everywhere you go. I will be sending more sun to those mates that need it or want it as I've been hearing it still quite cold in the northern hemisphere. I will send the sun express post to anyone who wants it.
I had a misadventure last night. my Uncle Grant who is my mum brother and lives with us collect comic books and he keeps them in book shelves and in some cupboards in his room. He went to put some away last night and I followed him to see what he was doing. He opened one of the cupboards and I walked in. He didn't see me and shut the door.
Mum was wondering where I had got to 20 minutes later and looked in all my hiding spots and still couldn't find me. I'm very good about coming when I'm called and didn't come. The penny dropped with Uncle Grant and he opened the cupboard door and I flew out. There was no damage done I was fine but it just proves there are times that being a curious kitty doesn't pay.
May I added this wasn't the first time this had happened to me as it also happened to me when I was kitten and that time mum shut me in the cupboard and left me for 4 hours until she came home from being out. You would think I would've learnt from the first time.
Arnold P is doing better he eating little bit but is still pretty sick can I ask my mates that read this to continue to purr for him. His mum said in his diary this week that the only thing she can think of that helped turn Arnold's health around is the power of the purr and I truly believe this might have been the case. You just have purr and believe.
I'm also sending purrs to all kitties that are sick or doing it tough right now.
Hope this rant finds all my mates and their families happy and healthy.
Purrs and hugs your Aussie mate
Ka - zar
Good thing your Meowmy was looking for you!
Great story, Ka-zar! Reminds me of the time I came home from a dental appointment, still a bit woozy from the happy gas. I went off to have a nap, and when Mom came looking for me a couple of hours later I was nowhere to be found.
She and Dad looked for HOURS inside and outside, thinking I must have slipped out somehow, to no avail. The next morning, tearful Mom was preparing the "lost kitty" posters when Dad heard a faint meow. They tracked it down to a small chest of drawers in the hall bath. There I was, snuggled into a nice fluffy pile of towels. All they can figure is that the drawer was slightly ajar and I hopped in to sleep off the happy gas. The drawer was on ball bearings, and may have closed by itself when my weight landed in it.
Boy, was that a great snooze.
Whew! So glad they found you in that cupboard quickly! Thanks fur the weekly update mate!
