I've or should I say mum and I have been slack with writing my rant. I forgot to write one last week so this is my first official rant for 2010.

I do have a slight excuse of this being my first rant for the new year my house turned into a hotel for the last fews December and the first few days of January. Uncle Ross a friend of mum's came to visit and stayed over night just because he hadn't seen mum for a while.

Then Uncle Al came for a few days to give Mum back her old laptop and install a wireless network so now Mum as two computer that are surpose to be more interesting than me. But I have to say if I want Mum's attention she stops what she doing and gives me her undivided attention as she says no computer is more lovable than me.

I hope all my mates and their families had a great new year as my got a little exciting. There were bushfires in a place called mount clear which is a town not far from us.

There were planes and helicopters flying over head for a couple of hours and it sounded like we lived in a war zone. Luckily the only thing taken out by the fires were a shed no houses or lives were lost and they caught the little sod that started it. It was started by two boys aged 11 and 12.

I would like to end this rant with a call to purrs for my mate Ivan. He got sick and the vet seems to think he had a stroke and I read in his diary that he got worse and has lost slight in one eye and is banging into things.

His parents are doing everything they can for him but they don't hold out much hope that there is anything more they can do for him but the power of the purr might just help him. We can only try.

Purrs and hugs your Aussie mate
