There isn't a great deal to write about this week as compared to last week my week has been a bit slow. I can't believe it November already. Where has the year gone.
Two things happen in the first week of November and that's the Melbourne cup (horse racing) and my mum's birthday. I better not tell you which birthday it was as I might not make it to 12th birthday next June if I do.
Mum didn't do much for her birthday just went out to lunch and then come home and chilled for the rest of the day. It was too hot for too many cuddles but I made sure she knew I loved her in other ways like hanging out with her and I gave her a huge kiss.
The day before Mum's birthday was the Melbourne cup. It a big deal in our house as my Grandpa likes to make what he call live stock investments (translated they're bets on the horses). He follows it all year and the Melbourne cup is the biggest race of the year.
By the time the race started 27 Million dollars had been bet on the race world wide. A facebook friend of mum sent a funny message after the race. Mum found this ditty quite amusing.
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Horses that lose the cup are turned into glue.
I will send sun to those kitties that need it which by sounds of it is most of mates at the moment as it sounds really cold everywhere in the northern hemisphere.
We had a few days of it being cold and now it gone back to nice sunny days and when Mr sun puts in an appearance I like to hear him with my mates.
Well that's the end of my rant for the week had more to write about than I thought. Hope this finds all my mates happy and healthy.
Purrs and hugs your Aussie Mate

PS. Please keep purring for Dog. He's on the improve but is along way from being fully recovered and still needs our purrs.
Glad that your days are back to being sunny, Ka - Zar! And Happy, Happy Birthday to your mum! *hugs*
~purrs for little Dog~
We are cold here but that does mean I can snuggle with mum without looking soft. I'm glad that you are enjoying the warmth.
We'll keep purring for Dog. We hope he is back to his normal healthy self soon.
