Katzenflocken is his staple... but he LOVES yogurt and gets one spoonful per day. If we forget, he gets very seductive to induce us to open the fridge and bring on the yogurt. Ice cream is an acceptable substitute.

Arrival Story:
Bodhi was abandoned at an organic food co-op that we belonged to in Tulsa. There was a box marked "free" and, thinking it might be full of juicing carrots that needed to be used immediately, I was surprised to find four very tiny kitties. There were three black kitties on one side of the box, all very vocal, and one little grey-blue kitty on the other side. That was Bodhi. He was quiet and adorable and just really stood out.
I went home to my husband, who was sound asleep, and I whispered, "can I bring home a kitty" and, still asleep, he said "what color is he?"... weird question, but I answered, "like my dress with the blue flowers..." and he said "okay." To this day he swears I tricked him... but he loves the cats just as much as I do, so it was a good trick, I suppose ;o)
When I got home with Bodhi, Shane requested I put him into bed with him. A short while later, I heard "OUCH!" so I ran into the room to see what happened. Sweet little Bodhi cat, with his very sharp kitty teeth, had mistaken hairy, warm Shane for the mama kitty, found his nipple, and decided to suckle!!!!
Bio:
Bodhi is much less vocal than his sister, Luna. When Bodhi speaks, you know it is serious business. "Mom, the bowl has been empty for hours...," "Please, hurry up with that yogurt...," "Seriously, I need to go outside RIGHT NOW!" He is the sweetest kitty ever. He doesn't like to be picked up, and he is huge (NOT overweight... just a naturally BIG KITTY).
Even though he doesn't like to be picked up, he is a cuddler. He's a total man, though, so it always has to be on his terms. He initiates the cuddling, and he is right in your face with it. He is also a gentleman. When he was a kitten, he would always call out to Luna when it was time to eat, and then wait for her to begin before he started eating. He no longer does that, but he does stop and acknowledge us anytime we let him in the door... he looks up, waits for a little scratch on the head, then proceeds to the food dish, water dish, or nap spot.
