Arrival Story:
Nora was my sister-in-law's cat. When they started having serious allergy issues in the family, they were worried about what to do with Nora. I had just lost my Jerrie, and so I said I would take her in. That was 2 years ago! Nora's technical name is LeNoir, changed to Lenore. My sister-in-law sometimes called her Nora, and I have almost always called her that. Nora is the biggest cat I have ever had! I joke that if she were a human, she would be a linebacker.

Bio:
When Nora was still living in my brother's house, she went through a period where she always wanted to sneak outside. One time, she got out just as they were getting ready to leave for the weekend. I told them to leave some food out for her and that I would go and catch her. When I caught her, I brought her to my house for the weekend. She was NOT happy with me and she never liked me much after that! It was funny because I've always been able to "make friends" with cats. I was worried about how she would handle living with me full-time. It took her a little while (she was used to being the only cat, and had no multi-cat social skills at all) but now she is happy and contented - and she DOES like me now!
