Vet thinks Bama may be in the early stages of CRF - renal failure. Abnormally high are her Calcium, cholesterol, Eosinophils levels. Her Specific Gravity is just below the normal range, her thyroid t4 is 2.7, up slightly since May. And her Creatinine is up from 1.4 to 2 since May as well.

That isn't great, but the Crea. isn't all that high. What kind of a reading did she have for the BUN? Have you found Tayna's Feline CRF page yet? Not on Catster, but google it and you will find it. LOTS and LOTS of great info., well worth taking some time to read. I know you don't seem to be keen on info. from other members, but this is one you need to check. BTW, cholesterol readings in cats are something most vets pretty much ignore.

I'll check out that website, thanks!

Yeah, I don't understand this, there seems to be conflicting info, not to mention that since she's back on her canned food diet and off the home cooked pork recipe, she's not drinking or peeing as much. Knock on wood, it's only been a day.

Her creatine is 2.0 on a scale of .9 to 2.7 as normal
BUN is 16 on a scale of 6-35
Calcium is 11.2 which is about 3 mg/dL higher than in May but her phosphorous is down from 4.9 to3.7. I thought in CRF cats the phosporous went up?

Tanya's page looks great I'll check it out, thanks!
