I have not written in awhile. Too much going on.
My sisfur, Livia's ashes came back from the vet yesterday, so she's home. MomKatt feels better now that this has happened. She hates the term "closure" because she doesn't think it can REALLY exist ... but as far as it COULD possibly exist, bringing her home, and in such a nice box w/her name & life/death dates & paw print lasered into the top of it, does help to bring some sort of reconciliation. Maybe that's a better word to use than "closure". You become "reconciled" to not having your special pet or person there where you can actually "see" them, yet you know they are still there in another way - you talk about them, think about them, look at their pictures.
As they said in "The Elephant Man", "Nothing ever really dies."
MomKatt & I believe that.
Purrs & I hope all have a good weekend.
O Hai purrty Morticia ((huggs)) MC says our babies live on in MCs hearts and that keeps them "alive".
Your Mom Katt is so right "Ticia....we do live on in our human's hearts. Your family has had its share of losses these past two years. We send purrs and soft paws pats to you all and hugs from our meowmy.
My meowmy still misses me, but you are right...."Nothing ever dies"....we are always alive in our purrson's hearts and in their memories.
Your Furriend, Louis
Livia is alive in our hearts.
Sending HUGS to you and your furmily today.
