we're still here!!!

Hello to all our new friends at catster!!! We've made lots of friends & we appreciate everyone's interest & concern. A special thanks to LILLIBET'S mommy for all her kind words & her good tips!!!

The little angels are 3 weeks old and as you can see in the new pics & video they're much bigger!!! As I first mentioned I was not gonna foster them & we placed them with a girl who volunteered but the girl bailed out in less tha 24 hours?!?! I guess she didn't know what she was getting into...

So me and Monica are taking turns each week with the precious ones. But once they're with me it's sooo hard letting go of them. I couldn't see them for over a week and when they came back they had opened their eyes and where so big!!! So last week I had them until Thursday and hopefully I'll get them back in two days.

They had their first deworming last Monday and two of them had URI (upper respiratory infection) so they're all taking antibiotics. But they seem to be doing just fine!!!

I never thought I could ever felt so much love for any cat and here I am in love with four of them. I've researched & read alot about orphan care & all that stuff and I'm looking forward for the weeks to come, they grow really fast and I hate missing out on them. I wish they could spend all their time with me but the very same week I rescued them my father became very ill & he's still in ICU. What a coincidence that every time my father has fallen ill each one of my pets "arrived" in my life... It happened with Smokey four years ago & now again. Even though these little kitties require so much work the time I spend with them it's my therapy and no matter how tired I am being close to them just makes me feel better.
