I've had enough

Mom knows I'm tired; I can't even get up to her bed anymore. They've been sticking me with the needle to give me water so much now, I'm full of holes and it leaks out. She puts food in front of me, I take a few bites, and turn away.

At least that damn kitten is leaving me alone; I think he got the message by now I don't want to play!

So she zipped me into that bag I hate; I protested a little, but I'm very weak. I cried out a little on the way to the bus, then fell silent.

This kitten is just too much

He's been here a while now; I'm getting a little worried because I thought he was suppo0sed to be gone by now. They gave him that magic herb (well, they gave it to me too, but I'm an adult.)

I don't know how they put up with him; I just hiss at him when he tries to chase my tail as I walk by. He's gotten bigger since he's been here, too; I keep wondering when they're going to take him back where he came from. He's such a pain; I was never that bad.

I am an amazing cat!

Mom tells me I'm an amazing cat; Saturday she was worried about me because the night before I had diarrhea and threw up all my food. Well, she zipped me into this awful nylon bag; I cried and whined until she let me out. She opened the bag and this man felt me and said appraisingly, "Well, he's got the look of an old cat." He and this other guy took me in the back room and stuck some needles in me - oww - then brought me back to Mom. They stuck another needle under my skin behind my shoulders for a few minutes - to "hydrate" me, whatever that is - and told Mom to call Monday.

She called the doctor today and he told her all the levels were in the "normal" range - whatever that is; she keeps telling me I'm an "amazing" cat. At least I feel better. She's thrilled to have a healthy 19-year-old cat. I just want to sleep.

They just got this new little kitten, and I can't wait until they send him back where he came from; he tries to ambush me when I walk by, and I hiss at him. He just doesn't get it. Mom tells me that's how I used to be, when I was his age. I think I couldn't have been as bad as him!
