On Monday we went to the v-e-t -- a brand new v-e-t in a little tiny office in a big house on a main street very close to where we live now. We did not go back to the far away giant animal hospital with separate waiting areas for different types of feathers and furs. This was way up close and personal. A slurpy bouncy young dog was within a foot of my carrier, can you believe it!

The new vet was pretty nice and called me the big man. I stoically endured his poking and prodding and showed them what a brave cat I am. I did not yowl at the top of my lungs like I did at the big animal hospital. Maybe I am getting used to this a tiny bit, though going into the carrier is still tricky. Meowmie had to lie down on the floor and pet me as I hid under the bed. Then she managed to get both hands and arms on me, roll up onto her knees without letting go of me while plopping me onto the bed, and then stand up and put me in the carrier. I hissed at her and she hissed back! Now that I know her latest technique I am not sure what she will do next year but unfortunately she is very creative and will think of something. . .

You sure gave your meowmie a hard time to get in that carrier...but yes she is furry creative, MOL!

dood...stik a trout in her shoez N see if her triez that stunt agin...we think knot !!! glad yur appointment went well and de leest yur mom coulda done wuz fixed ya a nice sghetti dinner with a side of tunie samiches on hole wheet when ya got home...she did due that didnt she....ewe de man meep...good werk buddy on knot bein scared ! :)

Meep you are the mostest bravest cat there is.

Unfortunatly for us, when our pawrents get some crazy idea into their heads about taking us to the V-E-T .....

no matter how brave or clever we may be, the humans always win. sigh................ Make your mom give you a treat something tasty like tuna or salmon. xxoo Charlita
