Yay! Kept hearing Mom and Dad talk about our first Yule with them this year. That didn't really mean anything until Dad began to string lights around the house which came with lovely long dangly cords to chase. After they got put up they were no more fun, they just went on and off and on and off. But then, we got put into the bedroom and we could hear Mom and Dad talking loud, like "this way," "no, that way." And when we got let out of the bedroom and dashed into the livingroom to say hi, there it was...
So tall and it smelled like the bathroom after it gets cleaned. Mom and Dad watched us so closely, as if we would be dumb enough to climb it when we have a perfectly lovely cat condo with comfy landings and hidey holes.
A couple of sniffs and we were done. Just heard Mom whispering about something called "ornaments." Sounds promising.

Dear Diary:
My Mom watches Clippy (Calypso Persephone) and Killes (Achilles) on their Bunny Cam all the time. She doesn't know that when she isn't home I turn the computer on and watch TheBunnyCam.com hoping that I will catch a glimpse of my secret love, Clippy, when she goes into her special cave. Clippy is a gorgeous Sable Burmese, (just like me), and I worship her from afar. Clippy lives in a place called Iowa which Mom tells me is far away from New York City. I took a plane ride to get to Mom from California, so I could certainly make the trip to Ames, no problem. After all, I was one-year old on October 21st. I am a big boy ready for romance although I have already been to the vet for the you-know-what. I could make the trip, easy; I already know Mom's credit card number (I watched her buy my Hugs & Kisses, a supplement which makes my fur shiny and lovely, online), so I could charge an airline ticket, call a taxi and be on my way. It is a little chilly today, so maybe I'll stay at home and dream of my girl. I can always snuggle up to Eartha, my cousin and housemate. She's nice, too.
I was so excited to see my girl Clippy is the Cat of The Day, today. She is so gorgeous and I am jealous of Killes (her cavemate), altho I must admit, he is quite a handsome Burm, too!
I have had my breakfast, tried to scoot out the door when Mom went to work, got underfoot when Dad was brushing his teeth, so it is time for a snooze on the stove, in my favorite cat warmer, which Mom calls a "skillet."
Ahh, to dream of Clippy....

Every week my Mum puts her vitamins in little boxes to take with her each day. Today I helped by jumping down on the open boxes so she could make sure all the vitamins were all there. It was so much fun making them roll all over. I could tell she was having fun too by the way she kept saying my name, SOOOO loud. I love helping my Mum.
