indoors Arrival Story: We like to say that Pretty Girl found us. She started to come around the house in the fall one year and we assumed she was a stray so we would feed her. She would cry but barely any noise would come out. One day she just stopped coming around and we got worried because we didn't see her for about four months. All of a sudden, out of the blue in early spring the following year, Pretty Girl showed back up on our doorstep. Apparently, one of the neighbors found her in the winter and since she was so small, was afraid she would die outside and brought her in for the winter. The neighbor's children named her Pretty Girl so we kept the name but decided to make her an exclusively indoor cat with our family as we discovered she was front declawed. Bio: We think that someone may have "dumped" Pretty Girl because not only is she front declawed but she is also spade/neutered. We have discovered that Pretty Girl has a "bathroom" problem which is probably what led to her losing her first family. It has been a rather frustrating process but we are not giving up on her - of course, we have virtually no area rugs anywhere in our house anymore! Lives Remaining: 9 of 9 I've Been On Catster Since:
