Arrival Story: Sparkle came into our Animal Hospital as a stray. she had been trapped for spaying and then releasing. the sweet lady that brought her in, traps the strays and has them neutered/spayed....then she tries to find homes for them...or if she can't, she keeps them. the poor woman has way too many and is over whelmed....but she continues to try to help those that have no home or food. when I saw Sparkle, I asked the woman if she was up for adoption....and so......here she is...my new addition!

Bio: Sparkle (this is the name I chose for her) came into the feeding station with a neighborhood tom....he seemed to know she needed food....she was full of fleas and a bag of bones. she had been outside on her own for awhile, she was dirty and very hungry. she hadn't been doing very well but wasn't too afraid of humans and acted like she wanted to be petted. after she had been coming to the feeding station for about a week, she let the woman pick her up and liked to be held. clearly she had once been a house cat, and had had contact with humans before. I guess someone didn't think she was worth keeping and spending a little money on to have her spayed when she matured....instead they threw her out to fend for herself and then to have babies that no one would want later. nice owners....they really deserve to own an animal! not!
well, she is safe now, she has a forever home. she has had her shots, been tested, been spayed, defleaed, dewormed and has a soft bed to lay on, good healthy food and someone that loves her....and a lot of fur friends to play with!!!
The older I get, the more I know why I prefer animals to people!
