Arrival Story:
I told my husband that I had always wanted a Maine Coon. I got really sick and couldn't get out of bed. Staying in bed made me depressed and I didn't feel like eating. He came in from work one day and tried to get me to get up. I didn't want to and then he put this little fluff ball on the bed and I fell in love. She and I have been inseparable ever since. I think he sometimes kicks himself for getting her for me though. She likes to sleep between us and if he tries to touch me at night, she bites him.

Bio:
I took Sasha to the vet today because she had started acting different and wasn't eating anymore. They diagnosed her with throat cancer and she had to be put to sleep. She was the best cat that I have ever had and I miss her dearly. The hardest thing that I have ever had to do in my life was bury her. She was more than a cat, she was my family. I feel like I just lost one of my children. May you rest in peace, Sasha. Sasha Nicole Tapp 8/25/01 - 7/29/08
