Hello Friends!
Please purr for Alfie♥ Angel, Teddy Bearz, Milo and Ollie’s mommy. She had e.coli and was rushed to the hospital last week, where she spent several days. She was so sick she said she felt like she was going to die. Thankfully, she’s home from the hospital and recovering but not feeling very well. She said it’s going to take quite a bit of time for her to fully recover. She has been coming on Catster occasionally this week but because she still isn’t feeling good and tires very easily, she isn’t up to writing anything in her kitties’ diaries. She asked me to tell you what happened. Please keep Alfie’s mommy in your thoughts, purrs and purryers! We love her and are purring that she gets well soon!
Because of Alfie’s mom’s illness, we’ve decided to announce the remaining Dreamgirl nominees all at one time. This will be our final announcement for this year. The Dreamgirls group nominations threads will remain open for the rest of the year. (We hope members will continue to tell us the names of their Dreamgirls!) Next year (2013) we will resume our Dreamgirl announcements on Valentine’s Day 2013.
Alfie’s mom still wants to make the mementos for the Dreamgirls but the project must wait until she’s feeling better. My mommy could attempt to make them herself BUT the one’s Alfie’s mom makes are so lovely and pretty and mommy knows she’s not up to making anything nice enough to match anything Alfie’s mom makes. We’d rather you have pretty mementos that you can cherish rather than something clumsy my mommy would make. MOL!

Oh kitties, we're so sorry to disappoint you once again! Our Dreamgirl announcements are on hold for now. We still have many Dreamgirls to announce and more girls are being nominated every day.
The announcements will resume in May, hopefully on May 1st.
Alfie's mom apologizes and asks for your understanding. She's very busy and is backlogged with things she still needs to catch up on, including the Dreamgirl picture mementos from 2 weeks ago. Plus she's still learning the ins and outs of her new computer and Windows 7. Going from Windows XP to Windows 7 isn't an easy thing to do!

We’re taking a pause and won’t be announcing any Dreamgirls this week. We’re so sorry to disappoint you!
Alfie’s mom was having computer woes and because of that, there’s been a delay in making the mementos for the Dreamgirls. The good news is, Alfie angel’s mom has a new computer (yaay!) but is doing a lot of catching up and other stuff. Because she’s so busy catching up, she isn't finished making the mementos for last week’s Dreamgirls. Rather than overwhelm Alfie’s mom with even more things to do, we decided to take the week off. We hope you understand!

Mommy wanted to write this diary entry earlier but it's her birthday today and grandma and mommy's sister took her out to lunch and then they went window shopping and came back here and sat around talking. It was hard for mommy to find time until now to come here and thank effuryone!
We haven't been around much lately. Not only does mommy have her own stuff to do, but grandma also tells mommy each day what they're going to do together that day and where she wants mommy to take her. Mommy is often surprised! MOL! And there's no way mommy can say no! So despite mommy's best intentions, she doesn't always get online. We've missed you all and have a lot of catching up to do!

This has turned out to be an exciting weekend!
Yesterday I was chosen as a DDP! Yipee! I had a good time celebrating and want to thank friends who stopped by and left comments, picture mementos and rosettes on my DDP!
Then this morning I found out I’m the KCK group’s Kitty of the Week! Wowza! Thank you Simba for the kewl picture memento and thank you KCK friends for choosing me for such a pawsome honor!

I'm a DDP today!
In the almost 5 years I've been on Catster, my diary has been chosen as a DDP only 3 times before today. (To be honest, though, mom reminded me that I almost never write in my diary! MOL!)
Can you imagine how astounded I felt when mom read the email from Catster and told me what the email said?
They chose my diary?!
